Phantoms vs Fire – SW1M+
First, here is a chance for you to help a chilled artist to chill. Brazilian composer Thiago C. Desant, aka Phantoms vs Fire, found that his laptop was stolen a few days ago. He’s looking to raise a few hundred dollars to replace it, and has made this unplanned album of new and reworked tunes available on Bandcamp, along with his whole discography at an incredibly attractive price. Feel free to browse his page, check out his tunes and contribute to the cause if you like.
MJ Cole – Waking Up
We’re playing a contrasting couple of songs from the legendary MJ Cole’s latest EP. “Mercy” is a lush collaboration with Brighton-based Kudu Blue, and “Serotonin” is UK Garage at its most blissful.
Jack Walton – We Are Golden (Chilled Mix)
This is so freshly chilled, there doesn’t seem to be a sample online at the time of writing. We’ll link to it when we can, but you can hear it on Chill from the weekend…
Essence Project – Forgiveness
The label calls this “dubastic psychill” and “a sonic eargasm”, and we don’t feel that we can improve on that.
