The Circle: Lucy Claire

Brought to you by Arctic Circle Radio, the Circle takes you on a one-hour journey based on the most simple and significant of shapes. Every Circle is unique; formed from a guest curator’s musical landscape and they all share the same revolutionary quality: each one ends at the point where it began.

Edition 67 – Lucy Claire – “Here are a collection of my favourite pieces of music written for, inspired by or associated with dance and movement. For the last year I have been collaborating with choreographer Imogen Bland on a piece called Moon and Yew. It features immersive classical music, glitchy experimental electronics and soundscapes, beautiful yet dissonant with an unerringly sinister edge making way for a tale of isolation, ritual and struggle through dance. I have selected here a few pieces that I particularly love. Enjoy!”
