You’ve helped us find this huge range of beautiful new tunes, ranging from soulful songs and sunny beats to the most chilled ambiences and atmospheres. If you’ve found anything we should be playing, you can email music@helpmechill.com

BADBADNOTGOOD & Little Dragon – Tried

When Toronto jazz met Swedish electro, the result was more chilled than you might expect.

Dodie feat. Tom Walker – Human

If you follow musical YouTubers, you may have known Dodie for a while, and with songs like this (from an EP due out next year) we feel she’s due some massive recognition shortly.

Chris Coco – Event Horizon

Melodica’s Chris Coco has this ambient delight ready to share from an album due next year, collaborating with Ibiza-based synthmaster Antonio Prosper and London-based film composer Sacha Puttnam. Chris told us, “It’s all about space and sunsets.”

Mega – Chariot

Soulful R&B from North London.

The Expansions – Transcoso

Crossing the river, there’s this jazz-funk going on in South London.

2p Soldiers – Reason

Quirky and playful chilled sounds from Bristol.

Madhavi Devi – The Truth Of Being

We’ll mostly be playing this Texan artist’s ambient and sensual album after midnight on Chill.

SVLBRD – Stratus (Remodel)

Similarly ultra-chilled, these ambiences and atmospheres will help you chill in our nightly Midnight Chill mixes.

New to Chill, September 22 2018

You can make your weekend come a little bit early with this sneak peek at our latest chilled tunes. If you’ve found anything we should be playing, you can email music@helpmechill.com

Phil France – Circle

A chilled collection of harmonics, atmospheres and minimalism from one of The Cinematic Orchestra. We’re playing the title track from this album across the day, and you can enjoy the rest here.

Sebastian Plano – Purples

First song from this Argentinian composer’s new album “Verve”, due in 2019.

Quart – Life Is Beautiful

Glaswegian producer Vince Watson has made this calming, cinematic album with influences from classical and jazz music. We’re playing “Never Say Goodbye” across the day.

Harmony Rockets feat. Peter Walker – Atropos

Guitarist and longtime Woodstock resident Peter Walker is in his eighth decade of music making. This tune is taken from a 3-track album described as “a mind-melting inter-generational collaboration that could only have coalesced around the wool sweaters, warm teacups and moldering bookstores of ‘Old Old Woodstock'”.

Dustin Tebbutt – Satellite

This Australian singer-songwriter has made a warm and intimate set of new tunes which he introduces here.

Hudson Passos – Atemporal

We’re playing several songs from this Brazilian DJ’s latest chilled, jazz-infused album.

We have another spectacular, globally sourced, chilled masterpiece this week alongside a selection of beats and ambiences to help you chill. If you’ve found anything we should be playing, you can email music@helpmechill.com

Maribou State – Kingdoms In Colour

It’s turning out to be an amazing month for chilled albums. This globally inspired collection is assembled through travels and field recordings across five continents. It’s a truly epic follow up to “Portraits”, which brought them huge acclaim in 2015.

Bruno Sanfilippo – InTROpassion

Barcelona-based Bruno originally released his “InTRO” album of soundscapes in 2006. It’s been remastered and expanded for a new version out on September 20th.

Sofasound – By The Shore

A laid back holiday tune for remembering the summer, or looking forward to your adventure to come now that the rush is over…

Sven Laux – You’ll Be Fine

We’re adding more tracks from this just-released ambient album so we can stay super-chilled across the day.

Noya Rau – Icaros

An album fom last year we should have been on ages ago. Sorry about that. It’s soulful and lush, and this quartet from Leeds is about to be gigging in Tokyo, London, Manchester, Bristol and Dublin if you can catch them there.

New to Chill, September 8 2018

This week, “Silences”, one of the most chilled albums we’ve ever played. It’ll be after midnight on Chill, or you can listen here any time. If you’ve found anything we should be playing, you can email music@helpmechill.com

Geowulf – Saltwater For Strings (reimagined by Pêtr Aleksänder)

Geowulf is a duo from Brisbane who travelled the world separately before making chilled music together in London. This 2016 track became even more chilled after another gifted duo (Pêtr Aleksänder) got hold of it, and this is the version we’ll be playing every day.

Leavv – Mind Garden

We’ve already featured some tunes like “Tomorrow” and “Lacuna” from this German chillhop producer. He’s just brought out this full length collection including new tunes like “Lighthouse” and “Valley” which we’re going to chill with across the day.

Luis Miehlich – Silences

Also from Germany, this uber-chilled album of fantasy soundscapes and soft ambiences is so beautifully crafted, you may feel transported to a place where you can do nothing but chill. That’s why we’ll only play some of these tracks after midnight, but you can hear the whole album here when you need it…

Sven Laux – Where To Begin

We’re also featuring this German ambient and modern classical composer’s newest track which blends chilly weather with warm strings in a comforting and satisfying way.

ITO – Window Drops

Also from Germany (did they have the most chilled summer ever there?), this is from Munich-based ITO’s debut EP of organic instruments and found sounds blended into beautifully chilled beats.

Dr. Deep House – Peace Forever

Have a guess where Dr. Deep House is from. Did you guess Germany? You’re right, although he’s also spent a lot of time in Ibiza. To be fair, you’d probably guess that too after listening to his debut album, out on September 14th, which is inspired by the natural beauty of the party island. We’ve got an early copy, so you can hear tracks on Chill now, and they’ll also pop up in the album linked here from the 14th.
